The first building, named Correll Hall in honor of Ada Lee and A. D. “Pete” Correll (BBA ’63), Chairman Emeritus of Georgia-Pacific Corp., is approximately 74,291 sf. and houses classrooms for graduate programs including the MBA, MMR and MAcc programs. There are multiple project team rooms, a business innovation lab, a graduate commons, and student lockers.

Merik provided building envelope commissioning services that included pre-design, design, construction phase observations and close-out inspections. We surveyed and tested the exterior walls, store front and curtainwall windows, roofing, waterproofing and slab on grade.

Water penetration testing was done in accord with ASTM E1105 requirements. The air differential and water penetration tests used calibrated air and spray rack equipment. Fenestration units that did not pass were repaired and retested.
